How to get tickets

Tickets for each event are available via the SeatlabNFT app, which you can download here. For help with setting up your wallet after you’ve downloaded the app, please see this help article.

Two ticket types are available for each event: “paid” and “lottery”. We have reserved some tickets that students can buy directly from the app to guarantee their place. But, we’re also giving students the opportunity to win free tickets by entering a ticket lottery.

By entering the ticket lottery, you are entering a draw to win one free ticket. Lottery tickets are restricted to one per person, and winners will be notified via SMS.

To enter the ticket lottery:

  1. Open the SeatlabNFT app.
  2. Head to the “Browse” tab by tapping the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of the screen (fourth from the left).
  3. Select the event you want to attend.
  4. Tap “Enter ticket lottery” under the “Admission (lottery)” ticket type.

You can find a full breakdown of how to enter a ticket lottery here.

SeatlabNFT - Revolutionising the Ticketing Industry

We’re using blockchain technology to issue tickets as NFTs. The industry is currently plagued by touts, dehumanised by bots, and ineffective at engaging and rewarding fans for their loyalty and attendance.

NFT tickets allow us to rein in the out-of-control secondary market by implementing royalty splits on secondary sales, meaning that whenever a ticket is resold, a percentage of the revenue goes back to artists and event organisers. In addition, you can set price ceilings on secondary sales with our NFT tickets meaning they can never be resold for more than a specified amount. We’re providing the tools to beat the scalpers in ways individual event organisers see fit.

But we’re also allowing artists and event organisers to reward fans with NFT collectables and airdrops that can serve as mementoes or be traded with other collectors, letting attendees extract genuine value from live events.

We’re rewarding people who attend a Seatlab Sounds event with unique and rare NFT collectables as part of the experience.
